Warranty Information for Mattress

Rivera Orthopedic Memory Foam Mattress

Rivera Orthopedic Memory Foam mattresses carry a 10 years limited warranty against manufacturing defects in workmanship and material (excluding covers and handles, if present) where Rivera will repair or replace your mattress, at Rivera’s discretion.

Rivera limited warranty covers the following under normal intended use conditions:

  • Mattress shrinkage, deformity or sagging of more than one (1) inch
  • Undulations on the mattress surface or splits in the foam material

The warranty does NOT cover the items such as, but not limited to:

  • Normal softening / sagging that is less than one (1) inch
  • Damage of mattress due to misuse and abuse
  • Fabric and foam staining, soiling, fluid penetration, tears or burns
  • Use of mattress on a bed base that was structurally not capable of handling the mattress
  • Mattress cover, if any
  • Zipper on the mattress, if any
  • Unauthorized service during the warranty period
  • Shrinkage in the corners

Steps for warranty claim handling:

  • Submit proof of problem to Rivera along with invoice and warranty card copy
  • Rivera will have a confirmation call and arrange for pick up from your location at no cost to you
  • Rivera to inspect the received product & confirm on claim status
  • Rivera to repair mattress or provide replacement if repair not possible
  • Rivera will ship the mattress back free of cost.

Other terms:

  • Only the customer who originally bought the mattress and has the invoice in his/her name is eligible for the warranty claim
  • Specifically for memory foam mattresses, normal change in softness and recovery time occurs over a period of time.This does not affect the pressure relieving qualities of these mattresses
  • Mattresses kept in unhygienic or unsanitary conditions may damage the product and invalidate the warranty.For health and safety reasons of workers, Rivera may refuse to inspect such mattresses and deny the warranty claim
  • Rivera’s highest liability is capped by the purchase price of the mattress as shown in the original invoice
Rivera Dual Comfort Mattress

Rivera Dual Comfort mattresses carry a 7 year limited warranty against manufacturing defects in workmanship and material (excluding covers and handles, if present) where Rivera will repair or replace your mattress, at Wakefit’s discretion.

Rivera limited warranty covers the following under normal intended use conditions:

  • Mattress shrinkage, deformity or sagging of more than one (1) inch

Rivera Sleeping Pillow

Your Rivera Sleeping Pillow comes with a three (3) month warranty.

To avail the warranty:

  • Retain the warranty card, brand tags on the pillow and the purchase invoice.

Rivera limited warranty covers the following under normal intended use conditions:

  • Hollow fibre fill

The warranty does NOT cover the items such as, but not limited to:

  • Flattening of the pillow over time. The Sleeping Pillow is expected to lose 20% of its height over 3 months and 30% of its height over a period of 1 year. This is NOT a manufacturing defect.
  • Outer cover
  • Zipper, if any
Rivera Mattress Protector

Your Rivera protector comes with a 30 wash cycle warranty.

To avail the warranty:

  • Retain the warranty card, brand tags on the protector and the purchase invoice.

Rivera limited warranty covers the following under normal intended use conditions:

  • Water resistant sleep surface, fabric and elastic.

The warranty does NOT cover the items such as, but not limited to:

  • The product comes with a 3 Year warranty against any manufacturing defects and any other issues with the materials that have been used.

The warranty does NOT cover the following:

  • Any physical damage reported (3) three days of receipt of delivery.
  • Damages due to usage of the product beyond its intended use and wear & tear in the natural course of product usage.
  • Glue lines or other issues related to the natural characteristics of wood are not defects and not covered under warranty.
  • Please note that the above policies do not apply to all pin codes.
  • There can be a minute difference in fabric colour and wood finish between the images here and the actual product. This is caused by the difference in screen calibrations and resolutions across different displays.
  • It is acceptable to have a slight mismatch in dimensions up to 12mm in upholstered products and up to 6mm in non-upholstered products.

  • Damage due to inappropriate usage.
  • If not installed by Rivera carpenter.
  • Furniture moved from one residential location to another.
  • Furniture moved to an unserviceable pincode.
  • Any modifications or alterations made to the products post purchase.
  • Not following the care instructions.

Returns policy:

  • Returns are not acceptable on products once sold.
  • During installation, the parts having manufacturing defects during installation will be replaced later.

All claims for damage ascertainable under initial inspection must be reported within (3) three days of receipt of delivery. Thereafter, replacement for any physical damage reported will be invalid.
Rivera Sofas / Sofa cum bed

Your Rivera Sofa comes with a (3) Three years warranty.

To avail the warranty:

  • If a fault covered by warranty occurs, the customer must first contact customer service.
  • Any warranty claim must be accompanied by photos of the alleged defect including close ups of affected areas and full room shots showing the complete setting of the Product.
  • The customer must, on request:
  • (a) Provide additional photos;
  • (b) Make the Product available to Rivera for an onsite inspection.
  • Rivera will assess the claim and will advise the customer of its decision within 4 weeks.
  • If a defect covered by this warranty appears, Rivera will, in its sole discretion, repair the Product or the defective part of the Product free of charge or provide appropriate compensation in the form of credit.
  • Rivera reserves the right to replace the defective Product with fabric of similar quality, grade and composition where an identical fabric is not available.

Rivera limited warranty covers the following under normal intended use conditions:

  • Defects in materials and workmanship for a period of 3 years from the date of purchase if the product is used for domestic and / or commercial use.

The warranty is NOT applicable in the following conditions:

  • The alleged defect in the Product is within acceptable industry variances such as movement of up to 5% in some fabrics;
  • The Product has been used other than for the purpose for which it was designed;
  • The customer has failed to properly clean, use and maintain the Product;
  • The Product has been subject to abnormal conditions, including environment, temperature, water, fire, humidity, pressure, stress or similar;
  • The defect has arisen due to abuse, misuse, neglect or accident; or
  • The defect has arisen due to chemical damage.
  • Damage or defects caused by normal wear and tear: specially fabric.
  • Damage or defects caused by after treatments; or Minor variations in colour.
  • Damage due to inappropriate usage
  • If the Product is sold by the original customer during the warranty period.

To avail the warranty:

  • Retain the warranty card, brand tags on the pillow and the purchase invoice.

The warranty does NOT cover the items such as, but not limited to:

  • Flattening of the pillow over time. The Sleeping Pillow is expected to lose 20% of its height over 3 months and 30% of its height over a period of 1 year. This is NOT a manufacturing defect.
